Water Hole
I have no idea what this place was called, and it was definitely a challenge getting there in a car. We hired a taxi driver to take us there. We were off roading hard core in a mini van...quite comical. Of course, Connor slept through it all. The bumpier the better for this kid (he's going to be such a thrill seeker). The water was cold and beautiful. We had it to ourselves for a litte bit until a tour of dune buggies came and made the water all dirty and gross.
On the way down to the water was this Haitian kid and his dad selling hats and wallets made out of banana leaves. The kid was a hard sell, such a dealer. We bought a wallet from him, and they threw in another wallet. Then Clark started speaking Haitian to the Dad and he gave him a hat (because they were friends he said). I don't know how they survive, seriously. And I'm sure that kid doesn't go to school (considering it was like 1pm on a Wednesday), but he knew enough English to make me a deal.
