Punta Cana

After the first two weeks, we headed to the beach!! This was when the real vacation began. Somehow we convinced Clark's two best friends from high school and their wives to join us. It was great fun. We soaked up the sun, relaxed, ate way too much food, and went on lots of adventures. There was a water park at our resort as well, which was pretty awesome. I wouldn't recommend the resort we went to though. The food was just ok and everyone (all 6 of us and the baby) got the runs (if you know what I mean). The beach and pool area were gorgeous though. It took Connor a few days to warm up to the water sadly. But I think he was just not feeling well and teething (a new tooth appeared mid week).
The girls got massages on the beach and the boys went dune bugging, we went on a horse back ride on the beach (more about that later), and went to a water hole with crystal clear water. Connor and I were the only ones to avoid the sunburn (thank goodness!). I need to get pictures from everyone so you can see all the fun we had. It was a great vacation, I would recommend Punta Cana to people wanting to travel to the Caribbean...especially in the winter to avoid the snow. There were not many American tourists either (which Clark was happy about) and a lot of French people (which made Clark really happy). Clark spoke Haitian Creole to all the workers which made them all very happy. Pretty sure he had like 10 people's numbers and new best friends. One guy even asked him to come to his church to provide medical aid to his people.
Here's a glimpse of the fun we had. Baby is crying so will write more later.
