Chicago

I've been tracking Chicago airplane tickets for awhile now. I needed to go back while Connor was still free. Then an opportunity presented itself: Clark was working nights, and a cheap ticket I couldn't pass up became available. So off to Chicago I went. I stayed with great friends and had a great time (although a different time zone and a baby that gets up early, was no bueno!). There were lots of things I missed about Chicago, but other things I was ok that I didn't have to deal with anymore. Things have definitely changed though, so it was a little sad. Memories are always better than reality I guess. I happened to be there a weekend where some other friends were back in town as well. That was awesome and so fun! Connor was screaming bloody murder in the picture :)

Surprisingly, the boys did fantastic with each other 98% of the time. Parker is a year older than Connor, but is a really nice, shy kid. Thus, he was okay with Connor playing with his toys and using all his stuff/be in his space. He didn't like that Connor would chase after him so much though. They have one, long hallway in their place. Parker would start walking away, and Connor would follow, chasing and laughing all the way. Parker was not quite as amused and would scream, Connor is chasing me! Thankfully Connor never tackled him (which I was really worried about). And we only had one incident where Connor ran smack into the door frame (ouch!). They had the same toothbrush and toothpaste, so Parker LOVED brushing his teeth with Connor. We ended up in a restaurant that was playing music. As soon as we stepped in the door, the boys started dancing. It was so adorable.

 Riding the trains together.

Connor was a little too aggressive with baby Charlie. We were getting ready for church and I was asking Parker where Connor was...well this is how we found him :) I was dying laughing. He crawled right into the pack n play and snuggled up. He also loved Charlie's little bouncer. He was crawling in there any chance he could get.

We went and checked out the bean (of course!) and the Macy Christmas windows. It was cold

We went to the science museum (Connor not a fan ) and a little exploritorium place (perfect for Connor). They had a huge light bright that was awesome.

Connor had a little (HUGE) melt down at Macy's due to lack of sleep and his need for cars. Needless to say, we came home with a few extra matchcars.
