7 months

Wow, Connor is 7 months old, I can't believe it. He is getting big way too fast!
7 month pictures didn't go too well. There were lots of distractions around (my sister's kids/toys) and sitting still for more than 2 seconds is a joke.
Connor is one active kid. Changing his diaper/getting him dressed is a full on wrestling match that takes 20 minutes. He is so strong. I've resorted to putting my legs on his chest these past few days and still he some how manages to turn and crawl away. He has also out grown pampers swaddlers size 3 diapers. It was disaster every diaper for 3 days straight until finally I resorted to getting new diapers (I was sick of changing his outfit 3x+ a day). I'm getting rather annoyed that I buy the economy size diapers to save money, yet he never lets me finish that box, there are always leftovers...grrrr. I went for huggies little movers (totally felt like I was cheating on pampers, hahahaha), but now I'm trying pampers cruisers. He still had blowouts and babies r us never has the size I want, so back to pampers it is.
Connor stands up on everything and cruises around furniture. He's going to be walking by Christmas I guarantee it. He is still a very social baby (hallelujah!) and loves when people look/smile/talk to him. He finds shadows very fascinating and absolutely loves mirrors. He giggles and giggles and giggles every time. I was just at the dentist this morning holding him and he started laughing and trying to climb up me. I turned around and there was a big mirror on the wall, so cute. He's liking peek-a-boo more and more and loves when his dada comes home. He hears the door and starts crawling to go see him. Melts my heart (and I'm sure Clark's too).
Connor is still a terrible sleeper, but since he's such a good baby and so happy otherwise, I can't complain. I've officially started the "cry it out" at night. Oh is it painful, for everyone. We're going on 3 days now and still lots of crying. Yesterday he was very cuddly all day, makes me feel so bad. Why can't they just understand???
We have fed him a few new foods. When he sees people eating, he definitely thinks he needs to eat now, yet we can't really feed him table food yet. Although I did feed him french fries last week and he chowed them down. He does really well with the baby food pouches, just gulps those down (too bad they are way to expensive!).
Connor has graduated from his whale bath and is officially in the big bathtub now. He is so happy and splashes like crazy. I think I get just as wet as he does. He just needs to realize he can't stand up in the bathtub (we're working on this).
He's wearing 9 month clothes and I can't find socks that will stay on him. His feet are so chubby and he's kicking them all the time.
Overall, Connor is a HUGE blessing in my life, love him to pieces. I'm so blessed to have such a happy, good baby that has been pretty healthy thus far.
