Connor Collage

My little guy is 4 months old today. We went to the dr's yesterday, weighs 16.1# and 24.5in, both 75th %. He's getting so big on me. Carrying him in the car seat is a struggle, I've bruised my arms several times. He is starting to teeth, and thus is drooling like crazy and naws on everything he can grab, especially my fingers. He is a very social baby. As long as he can see someone, he's generally pretty happy, but don't hold him and ignore him, he doesn't like that.
For the most part, I love being home with him. I am very blessed to have a hard working husband that wants me to stay home and because of his job, gives me that opportunity to do so. Things I struggle with: I'm bored a lot, running just a quick errand to the store doesn't happen, it's definitely a whole process, he poops ALL the time, why does he LOVE being his crankiest when I'm trying to cook dinner (every time, seriously), my wrists are killing me (dr told me "rest" is what I need...ha I have a 3 month old, right). He brings a lot of joy to my life though, of which I'm very grateful for. I'm exhausted most days and when I even think about how much pain it was to birth him, I cringe, but I love him a whole heap :)

  1. Welcome to motherhood! Now you can have a little more sympathy and empathy for those who have given birth to their children and are raising them just like you!
