Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg

A med student friend suggested we head out of town and check out this castle. Built in the 12th century by France for protection. During the 30 year war, Germany seized and bombed it. During the 19th century, Germany restored it. But it is now owned by France. The place we are living has been owned by Germany and France, depending on what war was fought.
