why do I own a car

I'm definitely in one of those fazes that I hate the city of Chicago and think why do I keep owning this stupid car. Why you may ask?

1) being towed for parking in front of someones "driveway" (driveway is a relative term, it was someones walk way. we parked there at 9am, got towed at 6pm...really it sat there all day and about an hour before we wanted to leave you decided to town it?!)  ($150 fee)
2) being ticketed for blocking someones "drive way" ($150 fee)
3) city sticker - the stupidest thing in the entire world ($85 fee)
4) renewal plate fee ($101)
5) failed emissions test ($200 car repair to replace radiator)
6) broken alternator ($200)
7) gas prices a whopping $4.50+
8) parking anytime about 4pm on the street is a PAIN IN THE BUTT
9) street cleaning - another absolutely ridiculous and stupid thing (been ticket 2x for that)
10) the constant fear that when you park in a new place, it won't be there when you get back :)

  1. Every time I check your blog there seems to be a post about you getting ticketed/towed:( I wish Chicago wasn't so lame with that!
