I finally saw Wicked and it was awesome! And what was even better is that we spent $50 TOTAL for both of us to sit 10th row center...pretty much amazing. Before every show, they have a drawing for front row tickets for $25/ticket cash only. We had been talking to one of our good friends who has gotten tickets 3x from this drawing. He taught us his technique of how to fold the paper and everything. I met up with Clark and his friend Andrew after work to put our names in the hat. There was about 100 or so people there, so we were a little nervous about the odds of getting our names drawn. They were getting towards the end when they drew Andrew's name, we were so excited. Andrew was so nice and allowed us to get the two tickets, what a good friend! We were waiting in line to buy the tickets but when we got to the front, the gal said, "um...we don't have anymore of the front row tickets. I don't know why they decided to give so many away tonight." After about 5 minutes she says, "you guys definitly lucked out, this is 10th row middle, way better than the seats you were going to have. The cost is $170/piece usually." We were in shock and so excited!! The show was in 2 hours, so we decided to walk around downtown and go see some Christmas lights. We felt bad that Andrew wasn't going to be able to go, but luckily for us we ran into a scalper outside. He sold Andrew a ticket for $40. We bought him dinner and called it an even trade.
Needless to say, the show was awesome. Glinda was really good at playing this stuck up, self centered blond, her personality fit perfect to the part. I was afraid there was going to be little kids around us who would sing all the songs (had a bad experience with High School Musical...oh my) but everyone was well behaved and only sang during intermission and after the show.

I LOVE that show!!! I'm so glad you guys got to see you!!
